BACOLOD City – Police have yet to identify the suspect in a carnapping incident at the public market in Barangay Poblacion 1, E.B. Magalona, Negros Occidental.
The missing car was a gray Mitsubishi Adventure, according to owner Sarbjeet Kaur, an Indian man residing in Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City.
Kaur told the cops that his driver parked the car at the public market around 3:20 p.m. on Dec. 31. Both of them then alighted from the vehicle to collect lent money.
From what the police gathered so far, the car was stolen five minutes later.
Kaur and his driver ran after the vehicle but failed to stop it.
