ILOILO – The hot pursuit operation of the Passi City police continues on the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) chairman of the city’s Barangay Agtambo who escaped a drug buy-bust operation at around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20.
Suspect Felix Gumban, 20, was able to flee on his motorcycle, police said.
According to Police Lieutenant Ivon Panes, Passi City police investigator, the operation was carried out following several weeks of monitoring Gumban.
A police poseur buyer was able to purchase a sachet of suspected shabu worth P1,000.
The SK chairman was considered a high-value individual (HIV) and has been engaged in illegal activities for a long period of time, police said./PN
