BACOLOD City – Police Station 8 operatives are running after a resident of Purok Rosal, Barangay Singcang-Airport.
The 19-year-old Carlo Torres fled after allegedly punching another villager, 38-year-old Rodney Peñafil, police said.
Peñafil told the police Torres confronted him on Saturday, Feb. 18 and accused him of throwing an empty whiskey bottle.
Torres then punched him, causing him to fall into a canal and get injured, Peñafil claimed.
The victim was taken to Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital./PN
