BACOLOD City – Six individuals were arrested for allegedly engaging in illegal gambling in Barangay 14.
Harold Colorado; Angelo Amalin; Aldrin Escalner; Jessy Jade Espelita; Rocky Benedicto; and Edison Delfin were caught playing cara y cruz on Sept. 6, a police report showed.
Recovered from their possession were P242 bet money and gambling paraphernalia, it added.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the Police Station 1, facing charges for violation of Presidential Decree 1602, which prescribes stiffer penalties on illegal gambling./PN
