ILOILO City – Five plastic packs of suspected shabu were seized from a resident of Barangay San Juan, Molo district yesterday.
Police arrested the 31-year-old Gilbert Deslate III in a buy-bust operation at around 1 a.m. in Barangay San Rafael, Mandurriao.
Deslate sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P1,000, a police report showed.
Four more sachets of the same substance contained in a pouch were recovered from the suspect, police said.
Deslate was detained at the Mandurriao police station. He faces charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The seized suspected shabu were turned over to the Police Regional Office 6 Regional Crime Laboratory.
