BACOLOD City – The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) confiscated approximately 303.01 grams of suspected shabu valued at P2,060,468 and apprehended two individuals both listed as No. 9 suspects in the drug watchlist of the PRO-6 with their two other cohorts on Hope Street, Barangay 5 in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
The operation on Saturday, Feb. 10, at 12:32 p.m., led to the arrest of subjects “Julius” and “Alot,” both tagged as high-value individuals, as well as “Alexis” and “Reynaldo.”
This buy-bust was carried out by the San Carlos Component City Police Station’s Drug Enforcement Team personnel.
A total of 18 sachets of the illegal substance, along with the buy-bust items and drug paraphernalia, were recovered during the operation.
The arrested individuals are currently in the custody of the San Carlos police for proper disposition and will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
