ILOILO City – A rape suspect was arrested in Barangay Adgao, Tubungan, Iloilo.
Roderick Erbite was listed as the No. 1 wanted person in the Tubungan police station, a police report stated.
Specifically the suspect was charged with rape in relation to Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act) for the alleged sexual assault of a minor.
Officers served the 41-year-old resident of Barangay Adgao, Tubungan a warrant of arrest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Erbite was detained in the custodial facility of the Tubungan police station.
The court did not set a bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty./PN
