Cops seize P408,000 worth of ‘shabu’ from two suspects

SAN JOSE, Antique – Police confiscated approximately 60 grams of suspected shabu valued at P408,000 from two drug suspects in an anti-illegal drug operation in Barangay 4 here.

A total of five plastic sachets and one plastic canister of the said illegal substance were recovered from aliases “Robert,” 45, tagged as a high-value target, and “Cel,” 52, a street-level suspect, around 9:34 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18.

The said operation was carried out by the Antique Police Provincial Office’s Drug Enforcement Unit and Intelligence Unit, San Jose Municipal Police Station (MPS), and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency – Antique.

The suspects were detained at the San Jose MPS. They will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
