BACOLOD City – Police have yet to locate the suspect in stabbing a man in Barangay Vista Alegre.
According to the police, the 38-year-old Pinggoy Estoqia stabbed the 43-year-old Joel Villafuerte yesterday.
Estoqia and Villafuerte – both residents of the village – were playing a card game in a wake when the former suddenly attacked the latter with bladed weapon, police said.
Estoqia was still at large as of this writing.
Villafuerte sustained stab wounds on the body and was brought to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital where he was currently under treatment.
Police were still identifying the motive in the stabbing./PN
