Cops train on security, humanitarian laws

ILOILO City – High-ranking police officials across the country recently attended a two-day seminar-workshop on security and the humanitarian law.

The top level workshop, specifically on law enforcement standards for Senior Police Officers, was held in Boracay Island.

The activity was sponsored by the International Committee of the Red Cross.

It was participated in by top senior officials of police organizations from different regions that included regional directors and deputy regional directors, said Chief Superintendent Josephus Angan, Region 6 police director.

The event focused on the human rights law, police rules and regulations and security preparations.

The participants hoped that through this seminar, they could improve security measures in their turfs./PN
