COUNTRYSIDE Food Resources Corporation (CFRC) held its annual stockholders meeting on March 1, 2021 at its principal office in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City.
During the meeting, Olivia Yanson, Leo Rey Yanson, Ginnette Dumancas, Charles Dumancas, Anita Chua, Arvin John Villaruel, Rey Ardo, and Daniel Nicolas Golez were re-elected as members of CFRC’s Board of Directors.
The Board thereafter held an organizational meeting and Leo Rey Yanson was re-appointed as chairman of the Board and president of CFRC, while Olivia Yanson was re-appointed as CFRC’s corporate secretary and treasurer.
Despite due notice, stockholders Roy Yanson, Emily Yanson, Ma. Lourdes Celina Yanson-Lopez, and Ricardo Yanson, Jr. were absent.
Roy, Celina, Emily, and Ricky are believed to be unable to attend the meeting because they are currently hiding abroad as fugitives from justice.
There are several outstanding warrants of arrest against the four siblings, Roy, Celina, Ricky, and Emily, or the so-called “Y 4” for carnapping and grave coercion issued by the courts of Bacolod City. Warrants of arrest have also been issued against Emily for the crimes of perjury and falsification of VTI’s General Information Sheets (GIS).
The chairman and president, Leo Rey Yanson confirmed that despite the challenges faced in 2020, the Yanson Group of Bus Companies remain committed to providing the riding public with the most reliable means of public transportation for all.(CFRC)
