Countryside Food Resources Corporation holds annual meeting of stockholders

OVY and LRY remain in control

On 1 March 2021, Countryside Food Resources Corporation (“CFRC”) held its annual stockholders meeting at its principal office in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City.

During the meeting, Olivia V. Yanson, Leo Rey V. Yanson, Ginnette Y. Dumancas, Charles M. Dumancas, Anita G. Chua, Arvin John V. Villaruel, Rey C. Ardo and Daniel Nicolas Golez were re-elected as members of CFRC’s Board of Directors.

The Board thereafter held an organizational meeting and Leo Rey V. Yanson was re-appointed as Chairman of the Board and President of CFRC, while Olivia V. Yanson was re-appointed as CFRC’s Corporate Secretary and Treasurer.

Despite due notice, stockholders Roy V. Yanson (“Roy”), Emily V. Yanson (“Emily”), Ma. Lourdes Celina Yanson-Lopez (“Celina”), Ricardo V. Yanson, Jr. (“Ricky”) were absent.

Roy, Celina, Emily and Ricky are believed to be unable to attend the meeting because they are currently hiding abroad as fugitives from justice.  As of this writing, there are several outstanding warrants of arrest against the four siblings, Roy, Celina, Ricky and Emily (the “Y4”) for Carnapping and for Grave Coercion issued by the courts of Bacolod City. Warrants of arrest have also been issued against Emily for the crimes of Perjury and Falsification of VTI’s General Information Sheets (GIS).

The Chairman and President, Leo Rey V. Yanson confirms that despite the challenges faced in 2020, the Yanson Group of Bus Companies remain committed to providing the riding public with the most reliable means of public transportation for all.
