ILOILO City – Charged with frustrated murder, a couple and their three other family members were arrested in Barangay Loong, Concepcion, Iloilo.
Residents Rene Boy Jovillo, 42, his wife Ma. Fe, 45, and their relatives Sandro Tayco, 49, John Tayco, 19, and Lordwyne Legada, 26, were caught around 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 29, a police report showed.
Policemen of Concepcion staged the suspects’ apprehension on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Oscar Leo Billena of the Regional Trial Court Branch 66 in Barotac Viejo.
The five were detained in the lockup cell of the municipal police station.
Billena recommended a P72,000 bail bond each for their temporary liberty./PN
