BACOLOD City – A couple was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay 5, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
According to the police, residents Jonalyn Oliveros, 20, and live-in partner Joseph Acar, 27, sold about five grams of suspected shabu to an undercover cop for P3,500.
A total of 25 sachets worth P34,000 were recovered from their possession around 1 p.m. on May 31 , a police report showed.
The couple was detained at the San Carlos City police station.
They would be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
