ILOILO – For some inane reason, a couple was shot in Barangay Binabaan Labayno, Lambunao on Wednesday.
One of the victims, Rex Agris, 38, confronted the suspect, Marciano Armada, Jr., 47, who was in the middle of a drinking session.
Agris alleged that Armada killed the former’s duck.
The inebriated Armada later went to the couple’s place and shot Agris using a 12-gauge shotgun.
Agris sustained wounds on his hand, arm and side. His live-in partner, Kristien Armada, 36, was also hit in the left leg.
Police Corporal Edran L. Lozarita said the suspect later admitted committing the crime because he felt chastised in front of his drinking buddies./PN
