BACOLOD City – A live-in couple was killed by unidentified assailants at around 9:40 a.m. on April 15 in Sitio Mansulao, Barangay San Isidro, Toboso, Negros Occidental.
Leonardo Lagada, 60, and Miguela Hedorio, of legal age, had multiple gunshot wounds.
Their house was strafed after Lagada refused to come out as demanded by four gunmen, initial police investigation showed.
Recovered from the crime scene were several empty shells of different kinds of firearms, police added.
