BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu valued at around P315,000 was recovered from a couple in Purok Cereza 1, Barangay 27, a police report showed.
The suspected illegal drugs contained in eight sachets were seized from 34-year-old Jay-ar Paraiso and wife Maricel, 37, the report added.
The couple was caught after they sold suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P1,000.
Personnel of the City Drug Enforcement Unit staged the sting operation around 10 p.m. on Tuesday.
The Paraisos were detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 4.
They were facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
