ILOILO City – Jun Artajo failed to attend his arraignment.
Judge Oscar Leo Balbera of the Regional Trial Court Branch 66 thus ordered his arrest, a police report showed.
Officers from the police station in Banate, Iloilo served Artajo a bench warrant at around 10:30 a.m. Sunday in Barangay Poblacion in the town where he lives.
Police temporarily held him at their station.
Balbera has been charged with violation of Republic Act 9287, the Act that increased penalties for illegal numbers games./PN
