ILOILO City – Charged with attempted homicide, a wanted man was arrested in Barangay Baldoza, La Paz district.
The 33-year-old Ronelo Rafil was caught by the police around 8:25 a.m. on Tuesday on the strength of a warrant issued by Judge Emerald Requina-Contreras of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities, Branch 8 for two counts of attempted homicide.
Rafil was detained at the La Paz police station. As of this writing, it was unclear if he was able to post bail that the court set at P12,000 for his temporary liberty./PN
