ILOILO City – A laborer charged with murder was arrested in Barangay Natividad, Tibiao, Antique.
Jespin Mateo, 19, was detained at the municipal police station around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday. He was accused of killing a man in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental in 2016.
Judge Cyclamer Itson Fernandez of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 63 in Negros Occidental issued the arrest warrant.
No bail was recommended for Mateo’s temporary liberty.
The suspect would be transferred to the police station of La Carlota City./PN
