BACOLOD City – Two men accused of murder were separately arrested in Sagay City, Negros Occidental on Tuesday.
Cousins Rico Jimena, 34, and Gideon Claro, 29, both residents of Barangay Malubon, Sagay City were caught on the strength of an arrest warrant that Judge Raymond Joseph Javier of the Regional Trial Court Branch 60 in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental issued on April 5, 2011.
Jimena was nabbed around 2:30 p.m. in Barangay Malubon while Claro, around 3 p.m. in Barangay Paraiso, Sagay City, a police report showed.
Jimena and Claro were detained in the lockup cell of the Sagay City police station.
No bail bond was recommended for their temporary liberty./PN
