In a separate weekly report issued by DOH yesterday morning, Negros Occidental’s Average Daily Attack Rate (ADAR) dropped from the 8.29 three to four weeks ago to the current 5.16.
In terms of risk level, Negros Occidental was downgraded to “low risk”.

But the province is currently on Alert Level 2 for recording a “high” healthcare utilization rate (HCUR) at 67.54 percent.

This city, meanwhile, also saw a decrease in ADAR – from 22.64 three to four weeks ago to 16.17. Its risk classification level remains “moderate” with 73.84 percent HCUR.

Bacolod also remains on Alert Level 4.

Despite the drop in COVID-19 cases, Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson urged the public to continue following the health protocols.
