COVID closes Hall of Justice

MAMBUSAO, Capiz – The Hall of Justice here has been temporarily closed yesterday for disinfection.

The closure will be for two days.

According to Executive Judge Judith Orendain-Tonogbanua in an office circular, one staff of Regional Trial Court (RTC), Branch 20 tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID).

The case is now confined in a hospital.

The Hall of Justice reopens on May 19 except for RTC Branch 20 which will remain closed until May 21.

People can catch COVID-19 from others who have the virus. The disease can spread from person to person through small droplets from the nose or mouth which are spread when a person with COVID-19 coughs or exhales.

These droplets also land on objects and surfaces around the person. Other people then catch COVID-19 by touching these objects or surfaces, then touching their eyes, nose or mouth./PN
