COLEGIO de la Purisima Consolacion-Capiz kept its hold on the top spot in the U-15 and U-12 category of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) Chairman’s Cup at Ledesco Gym of Hua Siong College of Iloilo.
Colegio de la Purisima solidified its hold on the top spot in U-15 category with 6-1 slate after an 84-35 victory over PAREF-Westbridge. Chris Almonguerra led the way with 12 points, while John France Deloviar added 10 markers.
University of San Agustin, meanwhile, notched its fourth win in as many games after a 78-38 domination over Assumption Passi (1-2). Agapito Clarito and Char Ernest Cartel have 14 each for SanAg.
Bing Conlu Team, on the other hand, cruised to its second victory in three games after a 49-43 win over Flying Lizaros Draco (1-3). Miguel Pacificador had 17 markers for the winning team.
Colegio de la Purisima were also on top in U-12 with 7-0 win-loss slate after a 79-69 win over Hua Siong College of Iloilo (2-1). Henry Penafiel tallied 29 markers for the winning team.
Team Pavia, meanwhile, improved to 2-1 win-loss record after a 72-33 domination over PAREF-Westbridge (2-2). Reynold Gaborno had 13 markers, while Rohan Gumban had 12 for Pavia.
In the other U-12 match, Oton Templars hiked its record to 3-2 by scoring a 43-32 victory over CSJ (1-2). Cris Emmanuel Suelo tallied 12 markers for the winning team./PN
