VIVA Films announced Tuesday evening that aside from “Of Vodka, Beers and Regrets,” Cristine Reyes and Xian Lim’s “Untrue” will also be available on Netflix this month.
“Iisang storya. Magkaiba ng bersyon. Sino ang nagsasabi ng totoo? Alamin ang katotohanan sa likod ng pag-iibigan nina Mara at Joachim sa #UnTrue. Streaming on Netflix ngayon June 22,” Viva Films said in an Instagram post.
“Untrue” tells the story of Mara (Reyes), an abused woman who seeks help from the Georgian police to help her deal with her husband Joachim (Lim).
It then becomes a tale of “he said, she said” revealing the couple’s dark secrets from the past.
The suspense-thriller drama was directed by Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, who was behind 2017 blockbuster film “Kita Kita.”(ABS-CBN)
