BACOLOD City – Colegio de Sta. Ana Victorias Titans came out with a dominating performance when it crashed Colegio de San Agustin-Bacolod, 100-50, in NBTC Bacolod leg over at the BAYS Center here.
El Jay Resolis anchored the offense for the 2-0 Titans with 19 points.
Jules Garcia added 16 points while Jessie Amago, Mico Exaltado, and Rommel Hechanova contributed 10 points apiece.
Sum-ag National High School Golden Stags, on the other hand, bounced back from opening day loss with a 79-52 victory over Negros Occidental High School, which suffered its second loss on a wide margin.
Baby Alfred Morales spearheaded the Golden Stags with 17 points backstopped by Christian John Bayotas, Ian Espadera and Joseph Ngalongay, who have 14 points each.
For Group A, St. John’s Institute Baby Falcons ruled over Escalante National High School, 93-70 as Joshua Benedict Baldonado delivered 26 points including five triples as Kyan Aric Andrada added 20 points.
La Consolacion College-Bacolod also scored a win over the University of St. La Salle, 77-70 as Lance Benitez and Kensay Sarco poured 19 points apiece as Jenri Duterte added 17 points.
In the other match, Colegio de San Nicolas de Tolentino-Recoletos outplayed Maranatha Christian College, 93-61./PN
