SAN JOSE, Antique – A woman was nabbed in a buy-bust operation at a bar in Culasi, Antique.
The 37-year-old Hazel Joy Villavert of Barangay Malacañang, Culasi was arrested after she sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P1,000 around 8 p.m. on Jan. 16, a police report showed.
Five more sachets of suspected illegal drugs, P3,100 cash, a cellphone, a coin purse, and a sling bag were recovered from her, the report added.
According to Captain Bryan Alamo of the municipal police station, Villavert was first arrested on March 9, 2016 for drug charges but has availed of a plea bargaining agreement on June 19, 2018.
Villavert was now detained in the lockup cell of the Culasi police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
