BACOLOD City – A 45-year-old man was shot in front of his kids in Hacienda Lopez, Barangay 10, Victorias City, around 7:50 a.m. yesterday.
Rodel Castor was a resident of the said place.
The victim was preparing to bring his kids to school when he was shot by two unidentified gunmen, according to Police Captain Genus David, deputy police chief of Victorias City.
Castor sustained gunshot wounds to the back of the head and his body.
The kids were unharmed.
Police recovered one fired cartridge and one slug, both from a .45 pistol, at the crime scene.
Castor served jail time for murder at the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City. Police believed Castor’s murder was a retaliation for his previous crime./PN
