ILOILO City – Police caught a 47-year-old man engaging in illegal gambling in Barangay Tugas, Lemery, Iloilo.
Officers arrested Romeo Lanada, a resident of Barangay Pantalan Nabaye, Ajuy town, a police report stated.
They found him soliciting bets for the illegal numbers game “daily double.”
The following items were seized from Lanada, the police report showed:
* four pieces of paper used as cotejo (betting stubs) marked “RCL”
* a piece of carbon paper
* a black ball pen marked “RCL 2”
* P105 worth of bet money
