DBC Homes launches Myara Grove

This profound transformation in the real estate scene recently had its grand launching at the Iloilo Convention Center.

The grand launching was graced by Mr. Alfonso Tan, president of Diversion AGT & Sons, Inc.; former Iloilo Gov. Arthur D. Defensor Sr.; Uswag Ilonggo party-list’s Rep. James “Jojo” Ang; and Iloilo City Councilor Miguel Treñas.

“Our mission does not end when the houses are built to the satisfaction of our customers; it is the point where we begin the core of our mission—to develop environmentally friendly communities and to inculcate the benefits of mother nature for the betterment of their lives. There lies the big difference.” Mr. Allen Son Tan added.

In Myara Grove, there are three home models to choose from—2-bedroom Aster Townhouses, 4-bedroom Adelfa Single Attached Homes and 2-story commercial Azalea Shophouses, with the first floor transformable into a business enterprise from the comfort of their own home on the second floor.

All home models feature big windows for natural lighting, passive cooling and cross ventilation for good airflow and energy conservation.

For a seamless harmony with nature, Myara Grove features courtyard groves that grow Iloilo-native flora at the heart around which homes are laid out. Every homeowner gets a front view of a lush landscape.

With the well-being of Ilonggos in mind, Secuya explained how Myara Grove’s name came to be.

“How do we infuse Ilonggo culture into the project? The name (Myara) is a wordplay, combining the Ilonggo possessive phrase for ‘I have’ or ‘There is’, with the English word, which signifies a beautiful place under the trees. So, ‘May ara ko sa grove’ became Myara Grove.” he said.

Meanwhile, Mr. Allen Son Tan also announced exciting developments during the grand launch. Myara Grove will have its groundbreaking this June, to complete the model units and launch by the fourth quarter of 2023.
