DBP issues statement on its operations

IN VIEW of the declaration of Malacañang which placed the entire Luzon under enhanced community quarantine, the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) is adopting measures to ensure the continued delivery of essential banking services to the transacting public.

Business units that are housed in the DBP Head Office in Makati City shall continue to operate in a limited capacity as we adopt appropriate work-from-home arrangements pursuant to the National Government’s directive. On the other hand, offices with critical functions shall be manned by a skeletal force to provide support to frontline personnel.

Selected branches shall remain open but on compressed work schedule. Staggered work suspensions would be implemented to allow disinfection and sanitation activities in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

DBP’s electronic banking channels, including 837 automated teller machines, remain available for the public’s convenience.

Our personnel and customers’ health and well-being remain our primordial concern. We urge our valued clients to continue heeding the advice of health authorities by observing proper social distancing and hand disinfection especially when transacting with our offices.

DBP is closely monitoring the situation as it evolves and we shall take decisive steps to ensure the unimpeded delivery of service./PN
