MANILA – Sen. Leila de Lima is contesting before the Supreme Court the warrant of arrest a Muntinlupa City regional trial court (RTC) issued against her.
Her camp believes the RTC has no jurisdiction over the drug charges lodged against the critic of President Rodrigo Duterte.
That Muntinlupa City RTC Branch 204 Judge Juanita Guerrero has not yet tackled the motion to quash they filed makes the issuance of the warrant questionable, said de Lima’s attorney Boni Tacaldon.
