ILOILO City – A man with a gunshot wound on head was found dead in a canal along the circumferential road in Barangay Hibao-an, Pavia, Iloilo around 6:30 a.m. yesterday.
Still unidentified as of press time, the man was believed to be a victim of summary execution.
Residents nearby said they heard a burst of gunfire on Sunday night.
Pavia police recovered three empty shells of a .9mm pistol near the man who was estimated to be between 25 to 30 years old.
The man was wearing a blue t-shirt printed with the words “Hard Rock Café Kuala Lumpur”, a pair of jeans and brown shoes.
He was 5 feet, 3 inches in height.
