BACOLOD City – Decomposing bodies of two men were separately found in the province of Negros Occidental last week.
According to the San Carlos City Police Station, Richard Broce reported to them that his neighbor, Jackson Baylon, 38, was found dead inside the latter’s house in San Carlos City’s Barangay 2.
Police believed Baylon had been dead for about three days already. His body was already in a state of decomposition when found at around 10 a.m. on Dec. 22.
Meanwhile, Manuel Doromal Jr. was also found in a state of decomposition at Gate 1 of Barcelona Port, Escalante City, the local police said.
Doromal was a 58-year-old resident of Barangay Old Poblacion, Escalante City. His body was discovered by his co-worker at around 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 22.
Authorities ruled out foul play in the deaths, noting the absence of signs of struggle on the victims or the spot where they were found./PN
