ILOILO City – Already in the state of decomposition, a body was found in Barangay Maquina, Dumangas, Iloilo.
The body was identified as that of 26-year-old construction worker Hardy Pinoy, who was reported missing on Dec. 16.
Pinoy was found at around 5:20 p.m. two days later, a police report showed.
According to investigators, Pinoy was last seen drunk, sitting near their house.
The cause of his death was not immediately clear but the investigators learned that he got sacked from his work last week.
