KALIBO, Aklan – Ten public school teachers in Aklan province were named 2024 Aklan’s Ten Outstanding Mentors (ATOM).
ATOM was initiated since 2014 by the Department of Education (DepEd) – Schools Division Office of Aklan and the Razon Tumbocon-Haresco Foundation headed by Aklan 2nd District’s Rep. Teodorico Haresco Jr. to honor the leadership and excellence in teaching profession.
This year’s awardees who came from nine school districts in the towns of Kalibo, Lezo, Malay, Batan, Ibajay, Libacao, and Makato are the following: Master Teacher I Villa Rose Delfin (Linabuan Norte Elementary School-District of Kalibo II), Teacher III Jafet Solidum (Maloco National High School-District of Ibajay West), Master Teacher I Joecyl Philip Lauron (Batan Academy A National School-District of Batan), Master Teacher I Elyn Bersales (Naisud Central School-District of Ibajay East), and Master Teacher II Judito Belarmino from (Kalibo Pilot Elementary School-District of Kalibo I).
Other ATOM awardees are Teacher II Mikko Jan Lopez (Regional Science High School VI-District of Kalibo II), Teacher I Leonelyn Monleon (Loctuga National High School-District of Libacao), Master Teacher I Dionadith Gay Isturis (Lezo Integrated School-District of Lezo), Master Teacher I Anjhielyn Mae Cahilig (Makato Integrated School-District of Makato) and Teacher III Churchill Gumboc (Malay National High School-District of Malay).
The awarding ceremony will be on April 27, 2024 at Tangalan Sports and Cultural Center in Tangalan town./PN
