BACOLOD City – Police served a warrant of arrest to a detainee at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology in Barangay Handumanan on July 20.
Romeo Legaspi, 48, was charged with violating his parole conditions relative to Section 12 of the Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), a police report showed.
Sergio Calizo Jr., chairman of the Board of Pardon and Parole of the Department of Justice, issued the warrant.
The suspect was meted the service sentence to an indeterminate prison term of two years to two years, 11 months and 29 days, a P30,000 fine, as well as drug counseling for a period of not less than six months in any government-recognized rehabilitation center./PN
