Panay News is the only newspaper in Western Visayas that uses web printing and computer-to-plate technology.
The web printing machine, ideal for high-volume and fast-paced print jobs, is capable of printing 70,000 folded newspaper copies in two hours.
It has revolutionized the paper’s printing process and further improved its circulation.
Corporate social responsibility
Public service that comes from the heart. This sums up Panay News’ core of operation. While it is in the noble business of journalism to inform, educate and influence people to action, the paper recognizes it could do more to the community it is serving and which has accepted and supported it through the years.
Through the Daniel G. Fajardo Foundation, Panay News is giving back to the community. Its yearly community outreach activities vary, including, among others, medical and dental missions, tree planting, supporting public schools through donations of school supplies and needed implements.
Foothold in Bacolod
For some three decades now, Panay News has been maintaining a branch office in Bacolod City. It is a recognition of the key role of Bacolod City and Negros Occidental in Western Visayas’ development.
Panay News’ Bacolod branch is on A. Parreño Building, Lacson Avenue corner P. Burgos Street.
40 years in the service of the Ilonggos
Not many local publications are privileged to be the No. 1 newspaper in their regions in terms of circulation and readership. In fact, to last this long and still going strong (from 1981 to 2021) in a very competitive and cutthroat environment are blessings and achievements no other newspaper can claim except Panay News.
