
MAJOR growth areas of Iloilo City were featured during the Dinagyang ILOmination tribes competition.
The event, held on its second staging, gathered seven tribes representing the city’s seven districts for a showdown in three judging areas at the new business district in Mandurriao.

Donning illuminated costumes, the tribes performed a parade-type street dance that started at Ayala Land’s Atria Park District, then to SM City Iloilo, and concluded at the Iloilo Business Park (Megaworld).

Tribu Sagasa from La Paz was declared champion of the first-ever edition of the Dinagyang ILOmination. Other winners were Tribu Iafa (first runner-up) and Tribu Manduryaw (second runner-up).
