DINAGYANG Festival 2024 has been a resounding success.
The epic performances of competing tribes on Sunday, Jan. 28, have showcased why Dinagyang has been known as it is—world-class and multi-awarded.
Among these is the Best Tourism Event recognition during the Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines Pearl Award in 2022.
Mayor Jerry P. Treñas emphasized the strong unity and commitment of all the stakeholders, including the contribution of festival sponsors behind all of Dinagyang’s successes, and expressed appreciation for every Ilonggo’s hard work and support.
Dinagyang Festival 2024 is anchored on the theme “Pagdayaw kay Señor Sto. Nino, Padayaw sang mga Ilonggo!”
This year, the world witnessed the return of eight national high schools in Iloilo City, who each gave their all to be their fellow Ilonggos’ greatest sources of pride./PN
