CELEBRITY couple Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary on Dec. 30, 2023.
The two commemorated their special day through a heartfelt post on each other’s Instagram accounts.
Dingdong and Marian dated for several years before tying the knot in 2014 at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Quezon City.
The real-life couple had an old Spanish-themed wedding, which was dubbed a “Royal Wedding” by several netizens.
The two uploaded their old wedding photos as they reminisced and recalled the memories they shared throughout their nine years of being married.
The Kapuso actress expressed her gratitude towards her partner in life in the caption.
“Siyam na taon ng pagmamahal, tawanan, at walang katapusang pasasalamat. Happy Anniversary mahal, ikaw ang aking walang hanggang biyaya,” Marian wrote in her caption.
Meanwhile, Dingdong shared how blessed he was to be working with Marian again in a film, as it felt like dating her “every single day” during the filming for the film.
The “Rewind” star said they have both accomplished the mission of acting out the beautiful story of the MMFF film entry.
“It has been a crazy, hectic year for us, as we were both busy with our work — having less time for ourselves. That’s why when we started shooting #RewindMMFF, it felt like going on a date every single day, and the bonus became a beautiful film outcome,” he wrote.
“Accomplishing this mission alongside you, my wife, is a rare privilege, one that I believe comes once in a lifetime. I am genuinely grateful for this extraordinary experience, which will always hold a special place in my heart,” he said.
The Kapuso actor also expressed his gratitude as well towards his wife for being his “Mary” in and out of the film.
“On our wedding anniversary, I have nothing but gratitude to you, my Mary, for being the best mom, wife, friend, and leading lady anyone could ever ask for. Happy 9th. Lundagin mo pa, Beybe,” he closed.
Meanwhile, their MMFF entry, “Rewind,” is still showing in cinemas nationwide. It is now in its second week of screening. (PUSH)
