ILOILO City – The 36-year-old No. 1 most wanted man of Dingle, Iloilo was arrested on Monday, April 10, in the town’s Barangay Agtatacay.
Aris John Macahilo, a resident of the said barangay, had been hiding from authorities for nine years.
Dingle police arrested him through the strength of an arrest warrant for murder issued by Judge Vicente Go of the Regional Trial Court – Branch 68.
Police Major Rolando Araño, spokesperson of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office, said Macahilo was charged for the death of Mark Anthony Donasco, 18, of Barangay Palje, San Enrique town on April 21, 2012.
“He fled and hid. He was the No. 1 wanted person in the town of Dingle,” Araño said./PN
