BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man facing direct assault charge in Barangay Zone 1, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
Al Nino Sitjar, 42, of Barangay Cabahug, Cadiz City was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant on May 12, a police report showed.
Police officers served the warrant issued by Judge Joanne Frances Nifras of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities in Cadiz City dated March 9.
Sitjar was detained in the lockup cell of the Cadiz City police station.
The court recommended an P18,000 bail bond for Sitjar’s temporary liberty. /PN
