BACOLOD City – Police arrested two individuals charged with direct assault in Barangay Suba, Calatrava, Negros Occidental.
Calatrava police chief Major Rocky Desear identified them as Remond Gomez, 27, and Angelo Barbon, 21 – both residents of the village.
Desear said the suspects’ apprehension on Feb. 23 was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Jose Meno Ruiz of Municipal Trial Court in Calatrava dated Nov. 6, 2019
Desear and Gomez were detained in the lockup cell of the municipal police station.
The court recommended a P12,000 bail bond each for their temporary liberty./PN
