ILOILO City – A 47-year-old nurse was found dead in his room at Suarez Apartment on Jalandoni Street, Barangay Our Lady of Lourdes, Jaro district at around 4 pm. on June 14.
Victor Lorca of Maasin, Iloilo found on the floor with a head injury and significant blood loss.
The Jaro Police Station led by Police Captain Melchor Tolentino is currently tracking a person of interest.
A security camera footage from a house near the victim’s apartment captured a man wearing a long-sleeve polo shirt leaving Lorca’s apartment and taking the victim’s motorcycle at around 6 a.m. on June 13.
Authorities believe the murder occurred between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. on June 13.
Captain Tolentino said there were no signs of forced entry into the apartment.
Several items were reported missing from Lorca’s apartment, including his wallet, a bracelet, a necklace, a cellphone, a sling bag, and the motorcycle.
However, Lorca’s laptop, which he reportedly used for work-related tasks, was left behind./PN
