ILOILO City – The Department of Labor and Employment 6 (DOLE) 6 urged jobseekers and employers to join the 2021 Online Labor Day Job and Business Fair. on May 1.
The event will be on May 1.
The jobs and business fairs are part of the virtual employment programs and activities spearheaded by the agency for the Labor Day celebration in view of the prohibition on mass gatherings.
“We are inviting companies in the region to participate in the 2021 Online Labor Day Job and Business Fairs to open opportunities to qualified candidates. By assisting companies through online hiring, we help jobseekers find a job without exposing them to the threat of the pandemic,” said DOLE 6 regional director Cyril Ticao in a press report.
The initiative aims to ease the companies’ recruitment processes and attract qualified applicants. It is also an avenue where employers in the region can offer available jobs and find the right candidates.PIA/PN
