ILOILO City – Over 700 vacancies await jobseekers in the face-to-face anniversary job fair of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in Region 6 to be held at SM City in Mandurriao district today, Dec. 8.
According to John Mandario, information officer of DOLE-6, 543 local jobs and 206 jobs abroad will be offered.
In local jobs, among those sought are customer service representatives, technical support representatives, Human Resource specialists, sales marking representatives, salesmen, drivers, marketing assistants, secretaries, and company guards, among others.
Interested applicants may pre-register via https://tinyurl.com/DOLEat88th and provide the information requested.
They must also bring their résumés and ballpens.
Other jobseekers from the provinces of Aklan, Antique, Capiz, and Guimaras are also welcome to join.
Mandario said health protocols and minimum public health standards would be followed, especially the wearing of facemasks and social distancing.
In Bacolod City, there will also be an online job fair, said Mandario.
Aside from the job fair, the DOLE will also hold vaccinations in partnership with the Iloilo City government.
