ILOILO City – A man allegedly hacked an uncle during a drinking binge in Barangay Gama Pequeño, Calinog, Iloilo.
Thursday’s hacking landed Joel Celeste, 59, at the Calinog District Hospital. He sustained wounds on the different parts of the body, police said.
The suspect, 26-year-old Stanley Lebuna, fled after the hacking around 7 p.m.
Police investigation showed the two initially figured in a heated argument.
Officers of the Calinog municipal police station launched a manhunt operation against Lebuna, who may face a frustrated homicide charge./PN
