ILOILO City – In Barangay Airport, Mandurriao district, a 22-year-old man had been stabbed Monday.
Christian Carlito was hit on the left chest. He was confined at the Western Visayas Medical Center in the district.
Police tagged his drinking buddy, the 20-year-old John Legaspi of the same village, as suspect.
Legaspi fled after the incident, police said, citing witnesses.
According to witnesses, Carlito and Legaspi were binge drinking when, at around 3:20 a.m., the former punched the latter on the head, said the police.
Legaspi then went home, only to come back and stab the victim, police said./PN
