ILOILO City – Police have yet to arrest a laborer tagged as suspect in a stabbing incident in Barangay Molina, Tubungan, Iloilo.
The 29-year-old Richard Tabaosares of Barangay Lanag Norte, Tubungan sustained a stab wound on the chest, a police report showed.
He was allegedly stabbed by his friend Domingo Eupan, also a resident of Barangay Lanag Norte.
According to the police, the stabbing happened around 12:43 a.m. on Tuesday. Tabaosares and Eupan were having a drinking binge when a heated argument ensued between them. Their other friends tried to pacify them but to no avail.
Eupan then stabbed Tabaosares, police said.
Tabaosares was rushed to the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district for treatment.
Eupan, on the other hand, fled./PN
